“It is the year 1888 and London is gripped with Fear. Brutal killings in the east end have left people scared to go out at night for fear of becoming the next victim. Players must take on the roles of Sherlock Holmes, John Watson, Jim Moriarty, Mycroft Holmes or Mrs Hudson as they attempt to find evidence that points to the killer’s identity. Be warned, there are many enemies of the crown who will stop at nothing to keep the killer’s identity a secret. Can you unmask the killer before time runs out? Can you stop an innocent man from taking the fall? Or will you bear witness to a never-ending reign of terror? A Scandal in Whitechapel is a self-contained standalone print and play scenario for Arkham Horror the Card Game. It does not require any cards from the core box.”

My verdict:

Visual experience:5 out of 5 stars (5.0 / 5)

This looks great! I’d love to see it offered as individual cards with bleed so I could print it with a printing service. Any chance of that?

Hi Stephen, I’m currently making changes for an updated version to be uploaded. (As expected with my first attempt, there were a number of typo issues that I missed when proofreading. I hope to upload these soon. With regard to the individual card/print bleed, I have actually begun looking into how to do it. Send me a quick email to garywalker1975@gmail.com and I’ll get back in touch about it. Thanks.

Thankyou!! I just picked this message up now (I’m surprised nobody else commented before you) My fault entirely. In my haste to compress files into zip format I managed to exclude the Enemies of the Crown encounter set. I will upload this with the corrections already made. It should be in the next few days. Sorry!!!

UPDATE. I have sent Carsten a PDF file to upload which contains the missing cards. Thankyou for pointing this out to me.

Important Errata: Whilst missing files have now been added, it was pointed out to me that there is still an error on the first page of the Campaign guide. Where it says for 1-4 players, it should read 2-4. This scenario was designed with two or more investigators working together. It won’t fair well if played ‘true solo’.
A final file update on the Campaign guide text will be updated as soon as possible.

Hello,
First of all, thanks for posting your creation!
This scenario indeed looks tasty, and I would love to be able to print it on MPC (for instance) in order to try it.
Would it be possible for you to post individual cards with bleed? (you probably already know it, but StrangeAeons can automatically add bleed when printing the cards)
I hope this won’t ask too much time on your side.
Many thanks in advance! 🙂

Thank you. I have printed them out. I noticed on the scenario card that the Elder Thing chaos token appears on it, but the campaign guide does not show the Elder Thing chaos token added in any of the difficulty levels. I am about to play the scenario and will add that chaos token to my chaos bag because I think it was accidentally left out of the campaign guide. Thank you.

Hi Gary
I have the cards printed out and I will be playing the scenario soon (two-handed with Watson & Holmes). I have a question about the Enemies of the Crown encounter set. On page #3, 4th bullet it directs to take those cards, minus Reflections of Fate & Charles August Milverson, and set them aside. Should Reflections & Charles also be set aside or should those two be shuffled into the encounter deck?

Hi Albert, I have just downloaded it to check. Bullet point 5 on page 3 asks to set aside: Abberline, Adler, Edward Hyde, Dorian Grey, and Charles Warren. All other enemies go into the encounter deck as normal. Could you please send me an email before you play it? I am actually getting ready to publish the final version of the scenario with a few changes. My email is garywalker1975@gmail.com. Thanks
