The Collector scenario was short, and some of the writing felt clunky. Despite this I still enjoyed my solo playthrough. The collector uses the core set encounters, so there wasn’t too much to print.
This was just okay. The story was pretty thin, so it mostly just became about the challenge, but even the challenge wasn’t really satisfying. Nothing terrbly novel here.
Loved it! Basically, our game came down to the last investigator, due to a bad skill check. There wasn’t much story, but loved the gameplay + investigating.
The scenario was disappointing: no real reason to do what we’re tasked to do, stuff happens for no reasons, and in the end we still don’t know the why… I’m almost tempted to change a couple of cards to make it more appealing.
If the author is interested, I would like him to get in touch and we could work out a new version together.
I keep coming back to this one, always being one step closer to beating it. It’s difficult but fun challenge. I I I only disliked that it was this short, didn’t like the writing and resolution of the provided images is a bit on the lower side. Other than that, very enjoyable!
This is a great little scenario for beginner players. Short and sweet, not a lot to print. While it isn’t super unique or challenging, I believe it’s perfect for what it’s meant to be for.
You can move from the Hall of Antiquity to the Hall of the Exotic, but not from the HotE to the HoA. Is that right?
Setting this up right now.
